Network Config Redactor

Prepare a supported network device configuration for review.

Your configuration stays in this browser

This page does not upload or save configuration data. It uses no analytics. Copy or download requires your review. Clear the page when you finish.

Unknown sensitive content can remain. Review the full output before sharing it. The output is review text. Do not deploy it to a device.

1. Add one configuration

Choose the exact format. A profile change requires a new scan and review. XML mode masks text values and attributes conservatively. It produces review text, not an importable configuration.

New addresses preserve public or private classes and observed network relationships. This discloses some network structure. New public addresses can belong to other networks. Address mapping supports 2,048 distinct addresses.

2. Compare the full text

Select text in the source to mask it. The tool also masks identical occurrences. Source edits clear manual masks and require a new scan.

3. Review before export

Supported replacements include passwords, keys, hostnames, domains, usernames, declared names, comments, banners, and addresses. Unknown or incomplete sensitive forms can block export.
